The final CoachCraft event took place on 10 May 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria, and was organised by Darko Athletics Team. The event was held on a beautiful day and brought together families, young people, athletes, coaches, members of the local sports community and both partners on the project. It was organised as an ecological run, combining sport, community participation and environmental awareness.
The event was also an important dissemination activity for the CoachCraft project. Participants were introduced to the main project results, including the online educational platform, the Code of Conduct for young coaches and the mentoring strategy developed during the project. The event helped raise awareness about the importance of ethical coaching, mentoring of young coaches, inclusion, sustainability and accessible educational support in sport.
By connecting physical activity with project promotion, the final event created a positive and engaging environment for sharing the CoachCraft results with a wider audience. It also supported the project’s aim of encouraging young people, coaches, clubs and families to think about the role of coaching in building respectful, responsible and supportive sports communities.
