Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct defines the values, principles and expected behaviour of coaches involved in the CoachCraft project. It supports ethical, responsible and inclusive coaching practices.

CoachCraft requires coaches to promote and uphold the highest standards of integrity, discouraging doping, unethical behaviour, and unfair practice. Coaches must model clean sport values at all times.

Coaches should treat athletes, peers, and staff with respect, tolerate diversity, and actively promote inclusion, ensuring that all participants feel welcome and valued.

Coaches must adopt ethical decision-making, put athlete well-being first, and act in a manner that reflects honesty, fairness, and professional responsibility.

Coaches must maintain personal professional development, be accountable for their choices, uphold athlete safety, and communicate openly with stakeholders.

Coaches are encouraged to engage in continuous learning and professional development. CoachCraft supports lifelong learning through education, mentorship, reflection, and the exchange of good coaching practices.

Coaches should encourage feedback, address concerns in a professional manner, and use constructive feedback to improve coaching culture and practice.
