On 8 April, a meeting was held with the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia at their offices. During the meeting, the results of the CoachCraft project were presented, with particular emphasis on the Code of Conduct, which was identified as the most relevant outcome for the federation’s current priorities.

A detailed discussion followed on how these results can be further developed and implemented in the upcoming season. One of the key points was the potential collaboration with Društvo odbojkarskih trenerjev Slovenije (DOTS), particularly in integrating the Code of Conduct into their annual licensing education system across different coaching categories. Additionally, the possibility of organizing lectures and educational sessions focused on Code of Conduct topics in the next competitive season was explored.

After the meeting the federation supported the dissemination of project outcomes. They published information about the project, including the Code of Conduct and video materials produced during the project, on their official website and LinkedIn channels.

Overall, the meeting contributed to establishing a constructive working relationship. The representatives of the federation expressed satisfaction with the project’s direction, particularly its focus on promoting ethical behaviour, improving coaching quality, strengthening coaching education systems, and introducing mentoring and additional educational opportunities within Slovenian volleyball.
